Pritex - Ideas and Solutions in foam and fibre

Automotive Materials

Automotive Materials
High performance, lightweight and heat resistant materials are at the heart of Pritex technology. Both fibre and foam solutions can be developed into highly efficient materials in terms of cost and performance. Producing components often requires combining these acoustic materials with a range of other plastics, film and fabrics.
The wide selection of materials used by Pritex mean that, wherever possible, we can provide single polymer components for improved recyclability. Carefully 'tuned' multiple layers are developed with their own special acoustic properties to optimise the best performance. 'Sealed' products are developed for particular applications - for example, minimising corrosion risk.

Pritex - The Art of Acoustic Control

Undertray
Specifically designed to meet environmental legislation for the control of exterior noise. Totally sealed acoustic liners give a high level of protection against fluid contamination.

Undertrays

Undertray
Engine Compartment liners on dash fender and bonnet require high performance materials to reduce interior and exterior noise, whilst resisting high temperature and vehicle fluids.

Engine Bay Absorbers

SAAB Parts
Pillars & Cavity Inserts
Designed for A, B and C pillars, contoured acoustic materials, some encapsulated in film, are inserted inside pillars and cavities to prevent transmission of engine and tyre noise.

Car Plan

Moulded components designed to fit behind fascia and carpets and in the ventilation system to improve the acoustic quality of the vehicle interior.

Interior Insulators

Headliners
Special fibre and foam materials are used to create acoustically tuned liners for the inside of vehicle roofs. Headliner
Trunk Liners

Tyre and exhaust noise can be transmitted via the trunk area of a vehicle. Shaped liners ensure the acoustic quality is improved for the occupants of the vehicle, particularly rear seat passengers.

Trim and Seating
A range of components for door and seating trim are designed for improving driver and passenger comfort as well as enhancing the aesthetic style of the vehicle interior.
