innovative acoustic control solutions around the world to many
of the major automotive OEMs.
TS 16949
is based on ISO 9001, with additional requirements for the automotive
industry. Both standards allow Pritex to supply acoustic solutions
to a wide marketplace.
We are justly
proud of this recognition of the quality of our products and
services to one of the world's major automotive manufacturers.
Pritex considers
environmental management, and product development to support
environmental initiatives for recyclability, as a key part of
our business strategy.
With a highly specialised acoustics testing laboratory, featuring a specially designed reverberation room, Apamat, and PC-based dual channel signal analysis instrumentation, Pritex is able to maintain a high standard of product performance through regular quality tests.
The Pritex quality system is structured and implemented to comply with the requirements of TS 16949. It therefore incorporates all of the requirements of ISO9001:2000.
The quality manual outlines the systematic approach applied by Pritex Ltd. from inception to completion of a Customer's order, to ensure the correct consistent quality of its products. It also takes into account any specific customer quality requirements. The manual is supplemented by Quality Control Procedures, Works Procedures, Quality Control Test Methods, Calibration and Maintenance Procedures, which detail the exact method of implementation of systems and procedures outlined in the manual. It is the responsibility of all Employees of Pritex to ensure all systems and procedures specified by these documents are implemented, maintained and continually improved.
Systems are in place to ensure the management of appropriate pre-production activities. A multi-disciplinary approach is used for decision making both in project planning and production-planning activities, with all necessary information communicated effectively. Plans are developed using a cross-functional team approach. Mistake proofing methodology is incorporated as appropriate during these planning stages. Levels of quality and operational performance are measured and documented, identifying trends and targets. Collated data is used to drive process improvement plans as appropriate. A team approach to continuous improvement is utilised where appropriate. Actions, both corrective and preventive, are used to develop programs for improvement. Quality tools used to aid continuous improvement activities can include, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Kaizen (incorporating QOS reporting techniques), T.P.M., Designed Experiments, cost of quality, and ppm analysis.
